I edited the cover to 4.8a. It's over here in the original post - http://orikes13.livejournal.com/94159.html. If you're seeing the old one, just hit refresh.

Got a little bit of writing done last night. Still need to shoot one last scene, but I'll either get that tonight or tomorrow after voting and before work.

As a side note, I confirmed that the broken howl interaction is NOT related to any hacks or mods. I removed my downloads folder and directed a dog to howl. They still went up to the sim and tried to play razzle instead. Darn it. I really wanted some wolves howling. Maybe I'll post quick over on MATY and see if anyone has any ideas on what to do. Probably not. My last post went completely unanswered. Fooey.

Anyway. How are you all doing on this fine Monday?

Ooo, yeah. She looks more sinister now.

I wish I could help about the wolves. Yeah, sometimes you think it might be a hack and then it's just sadorandomness. I thought something might be broken about Santa, but he still works. He just doesn't always feel like coming, evidently.

Wiped. I'm wiped. I finished a huge report and am almost done grading a stack of midterms.

I got up early so I could let in some workmen. One guy really did a number on my back yard. He trimmed my rose trees, which had fallen over to where they were almost parallel with the ground; uprooted a huge butterfly bush and transplanted my lime tree to where it was; trimmed my lemon and my orange trees so they were the right size (the lemon was almost fifteen feet tall! it should be about five feet) and blew all the old ikky leaves away. The whole garden looks recognizable now, and he only charged $135.

The other guy braced my new bookcases to the wall and installed a new track lighting set I bought. It is so much nicer now.

The house is dirty and I have a lot to organize and clean, but I'm much happier about it.

In other news, I have been trying to get Marko and Marbles to pose with a pumpkin. Marko is scared of the pumpkin (it's only about 3" in diameter.) Marbles got over being afraid of it, and now she is trying to kill it. This is annoying, as I want to take a picture of them, and then, because it is a perfectly good little pie pumpkin, I want to eat it.

Doc gave me an idea I'm going to try. If the howl interaction works for her withotu AL and FT, I might as well make an AGS without those and see if I can get the shot I need. It's not essentially, but I think it would be emotionally resonant for the scene I want to include it in.

Yay for workmen doing workmen things. The house can always get cleaned eventually, but it's always ncie to have someone handy do the things you need them to do.

OH hey, I meant to mention with your previous mention of the cats and pumpkins. Years ago, we used a little bit of tuna on a pumpkin to get the cats close. The pictures weren't great, but it was kind of funny to have all these pictures of a cat licking a pumpkin. :) It might at least get Marko in thep icture.
