I edited the cover to 4.8a. It's over here in the original post - http://orikes13.livejournal.com/94159.html. If you're seeing the old one, just hit refresh.

Got a little bit of writing done last night. Still need to shoot one last scene, but I'll either get that tonight or tomorrow after voting and before work.

As a side note, I confirmed that the broken howl interaction is NOT related to any hacks or mods. I removed my downloads folder and directed a dog to howl. They still went up to the sim and tried to play razzle instead. Darn it. I really wanted some wolves howling. Maybe I'll post quick over on MATY and see if anyone has any ideas on what to do. Probably not. My last post went completely unanswered. Fooey.

Anyway. How are you all doing on this fine Monday?

Oooh, nice!! Kirstial looks really smug now. I'm glad to hear that the update is coming along nicely. I can't wait to see it.

As for my Monday, it's been pretty good. I have to help my roommate design a poster for his comedy club, but that's about it. I'll be making dinner in the next thirty for Lucas and I. It's dorky as all get out, but if I get home early, I like to have dinner ready when Lucas gets home, 1950's style. It freaks him right the hell out and guarantees that I won't be doing dishes.

Hey, anything to get out of doing dishes. I think that's made of win no matter how you get there. ;)

Ah yes I like that. She really looks like she is gloating now.

Sounds like things are coming along nicely with the update which is good.

My Monday's been good. Had my yearly appraisal at work, which went well. We were then without computers for over an hour, but I had things to do which didn't use them, so I didn't get bored.

Sims wise, the first part of my update is done, and I've made a start on the second part. I want to do a Bonfire Bash for my sims tomorrow which will cut down on my writing time, but I'm still looking at the weekend for an update.

I like that one much better :0 She looks properly smug now. Glad to hear the update's coming along well I'm anxious to read it.

My Monday's been pretty good so far, work was a bit slow for this time of year but not slow enough to be boring. I got a small amount of simming done and now I'm off to class.

I like the new cover better. Kirstial looks much more sinister.

I have pet issues occasionally as well--the option to Praise for Playfulness or Scold for Hostility often doesn't show up at the Prettacy, and for a while, every time I Praised a dog for Peeing Outside, it showed up as learning to Stay Off Furniture. Is it just happening on one lot, or is it everywhere? I could definitely make El Chupacabra Howl when I needed to.

Monday is Monday. I have a job, lunch was good, making plans to go to Vegas and meet up with some family with my parents when they're in town for Christmas, Loki was only moderately annoying during his daily 4:30am Make Lots Of Noise, my eye's clearing up, and after tomorrow, all of the freaking VOTE YES VOTE NO CANDIDATE A EATS PUPPIES CANDIDATE B TRIPS BLIND PEOPLE AND LAUGHS AT THEM commercials will be gone.

Not to mention the phone calls. I get lots of robo phone calls urging me to vote, which is just plain annoying, especially when you already have. Let's just hope there isn't some problem with the vote count or a contested thing. I'm not in the mood for a repeat of 2000.

Good to hear that your eye is better!

I haven't been getting the calls. Not really sure why not, although I'm certainly not going to complain. And it turns out I can walk to the polling place from my apartment complex (across the street! Wheee!) so it shouldn't be too bad to go vote tomorrow.

Y'know, you just gave me an idea. It might be more work than I should take on for just one or two slides, but...

If the problem is with AL, I could make an AGS game without AL (and FT - Need BV for the trees) and get my wolf howls that way. I don't know that my lot will port in properly, but I can always whip something up quick enough to be what I need.

Ooo, yeah. She looks more sinister now.

I wish I could help about the wolves. Yeah, sometimes you think it might be a hack and then it's just sadorandomness. I thought something might be broken about Santa, but he still works. He just doesn't always feel like coming, evidently.

Wiped. I'm wiped. I finished a huge report and am almost done grading a stack of midterms.

I got up early so I could let in some workmen. One guy really did a number on my back yard. He trimmed my rose trees, which had fallen over to where they were almost parallel with the ground; uprooted a huge butterfly bush and transplanted my lime tree to where it was; trimmed my lemon and my orange trees so they were the right size (the lemon was almost fifteen feet tall! it should be about five feet) and blew all the old ikky leaves away. The whole garden looks recognizable now, and he only charged $135.

The other guy braced my new bookcases to the wall and installed a new track lighting set I bought. It is so much nicer now.

The house is dirty and I have a lot to organize and clean, but I'm much happier about it.

In other news, I have been trying to get Marko and Marbles to pose with a pumpkin. Marko is scared of the pumpkin (it's only about 3" in diameter.) Marbles got over being afraid of it, and now she is trying to kill it. This is annoying, as I want to take a picture of them, and then, because it is a perfectly good little pie pumpkin, I want to eat it.

Doc gave me an idea I'm going to try. If the howl interaction works for her withotu AL and FT, I might as well make an AGS without those and see if I can get the shot I need. It's not essentially, but I think it would be emotionally resonant for the scene I want to include it in.

Yay for workmen doing workmen things. The house can always get cleaned eventually, but it's always ncie to have someone handy do the things you need them to do.

OH hey, I meant to mention with your previous mention of the cats and pumpkins. Years ago, we used a little bit of tuna on a pumpkin to get the cats close. The pictures weren't great, but it was kind of funny to have all these pictures of a cat licking a pumpkin. :) It might at least get Marko in thep icture.

Loving the new cover, Kirstial looks very gloating indeed, am particularly intrigued by the flaming car shot.

My Monday has been spent locked in the Library with a stack of books about Medieval Manuscripts typing as fast as I can and mispelling 'eucharist' in as many ways conceivable, but I finally got my work in. Woo.

Don't medieval manuscripts have the strangest smell? That and the dry air in those rooms sets off my sinuses something fierce. I somewhat miss those days.

That's a much more sinister shot of Kirstial--me likey.

As for my Monday? Work was SO. BORING. Most of my fun websites are blocked from there so I clicked back and forth between Boolprop, MATY, my email, and the CBC website all day. Actual work done: about 30 minutes worth, and I have no idea what I'm going to do tomorrow.

Tonight is 4E D&D night, which I run. Hopefully people won't cancel last-minute again this week like they did last week. We're such a small group, if one person cancels then we're pretty much done. I wish more of our regular group were willing to give 4E a try, but they've all decided they HATES it and it's EVIL, precious... gollum... gollum...

I'm definitely enjoying it, though it's a bit of a trial for my poor gamers. I'm more roleplaying-oriented and less rules-oriented... and we're playing through a published dungeon crawl. Perhaps not the best type of game for me to run :P.

And yeah, they're being snobs. We're hoping by working on the ones willing to give it a shot we can eventually convince the more reticent members to play.

Kirstial looks great now. It's a much more... Kirstial kind-of look.

I had off from school today, so I spent the day finishing my Halloween Special and doing a bulk of NaNoWriMo writing. I'm anxious for tomorrow to come so I can see how the polls are going to work out.

Well, it's Tuesday morning now when I'm reading this, but I'm doing great. I went and voted before work, and now I'm feeling all patriotic and pleased with myself. :D

Also, that's a much better pose on the cover. :)

OK, maybe you've already gotten your Howls, but will they still "Sing Along" with the stereo? That's basically the same animation as "Howl." That's one of the ways I got El Chupacabra to do that without actually terrorizing Dante Gabriel. But then he looked like he was having so much FUN terrorizing DG that I let him Howl at him too.
