The Best of Intentions
Apr. 11th, 2005 11:29 pmI think if there is one thing I dislike about myself most, it's my ability to procrastinate. Especially when I know what's right to do and I still put off doing it. I just make myself look like an idiot when I don't.
This older gentleman at work has been giving me a ride home at night. He's probably about my dad's age, and didn't like the idea of me catching a bus that late at night in the city. So he's been giving me a ride home. I should have offered him some gas money last week. I've been intending to bake him cookies or some other nice thing for weeks. Because I've been putting that all off, today he had to ask me if I could chip in some money for gas.
Argh. So often I know what I should do, or want to do, and just don't.
