The Best of Intentions

I think if there is one thing I dislike about myself most, it's my ability to procrastinate. Especially when I know what's right to do and I still put off doing it. I just make myself look like an idiot when I don't.

This older gentleman at work has been giving me a ride home at night. He's probably about my dad's age, and didn't like the idea of me catching a bus that late at night in the city. So he's been giving me a ride home. I should have offered him some gas money last week. I've been intending to bake him cookies or some other nice thing for weeks. Because I've been putting that all off, today he had to ask me if I could chip in some money for gas.

Argh. So often I know what I should do, or want to do, and just don't.

I know what you mean. For me, it's things around the house. I never feel like I'm doing my share and that's because, well, I'm not!

BTW, I unfreezered Odyssey today and am working him through the new chargen.

You're bringing Andreus out of the freezer!? :) YAY! I was just pondering things I could do to make Haley fun to play again since I do miss playing her, I just... it's hard to find the motivation when so many of her connections are gone with people who've gone.

This is, of course, pending you actually wanting to RP with me again... :)

Ha! Well, ask yourself this question: if I didn't want to RP with you, then why in the world would I bring back Andreus?

The challenge is my schedule, which only allows me online in the afternoons, noon-5pm Pacific. So we may have to be kind of creative and patient with scheduling things.

So is there still a spot on the Machine for me?

That's just the thing. I KNOW it's the right thing to do! I just kept saying it to myself and nodding sagely, and then NOT doing it.

And I can do it... when I get paid this week. I misjudged my bank account this week and only have $2 in the bank account. Yikes.
