I wish I had more hours in a day. There's too much I want to do and too little time to get it done in while still keeping up with everything I want to do. Today I planned to get some stuff done in the rebuild, but between normal stuff I check online and the Whedonberry update, I wasn't even able to crack open SimPE.

I want to start sorting pictures for 4.9 so I can figure out what I still need to get pictures of and get moving on writing that. I want it out before Christmas, darn it. But I desperately want to get the rebuild done.

Ah well.

I'm still keeping things moving, and I thought I'd share this picture with you all.

Inappropriate reactions in the face of death!

Those ashes are Deena's. Even though I probably didn't have to bring her over, I still wanted to make sure she was properly in Ophelia's family tree. So, I remade her, moved her in with Kirstial and Grimlock. I then summoned her to Ophelia's lot, hooked her up in the family tree, and then kicked her out. Back in Kirstial's lot, I made the rest of the residents furious with her so they wouldn't be too upset at her passing. I then killed her off.

As you can see, they really didn't care. :)

So how are you all doing today?

Well, at least they weren't laughing! I remember SJ and Larch laughing when Jerky Jake died in SJ's Bachelor Challenge. And there's always Cecil's Talk Through Bear right after Gaius died.

I have a very amusing shot of Rocky lecturing Cam for breaking the shower while Cam is doing the Creepy Nice Point Smile/Wave at him. I will share it at some point, because it is too good not to share.

The pillow fight started AFTER they pointed and laughed. :)

I would love to see that picture. It sounds like an awesome one. Gotta love the creepy nice smile.

It might be inappropriate if it weren't those too. Very funny.

I'm sitting at work, as usual. Trying to fix some lag in game, and moving my legacy family to their new abode.
Doesn't sound like I'm working does it? :/ I am I promise.

I'm glad to hear that your rebuild is going alright.
Whedonberry! OOH. I didn't see that. *Runs off to read*

Whedonberry was very good. :) Double update even.

The machinations you go through to control people's reactions are extremely amusing. :D

Most of it was to just get her linked properly with her daughter again. I could have skipped making her completely and no one would have been the wiser, but I figured a murdered heartless skank is worth keeping around as a ghost at the very least. ;)

Somehow with them that does seem appropriate. I'm not sure Grim thinks they should be taking him so lightly though. ;)

What am I doing? Smiling at pictures, reading lj entries before doing the dishes I should have done before bed last night, and planning on trying to get some sims done before I get on WoW and push toward 73!

You sim and WoW? I'm impressed. I can barely keep up with what I've already got on my plate. I'm completely avoiding MMORPGs like WoW because I know how addicting they are. I spent three years in Everquest. :)

Haha, somehow that is so appropriate for those two.

I hear you on needing more hours in the day, but I have made progress with the recap, and I've got the big scenes with Alexandra shot today.

Some days you manage to get more done than you expect, others you don't achieve at all. *shrug*

That's very true. It doesn't help that my free time is divided pretty much in two. I get a couple hours before work and a couple hours after work. I think I'd get more done if I was working a regular schedule and had all my free time after work. I suppose I could try and go to bed right after work and wake up earlier and get my free time BEFORE work, but yeah... that's not going to work.

Yay for progress on the recap. I know how tough they are to get through.

I didn't notice Jon there at first, so I was like "... uh, Kirstial, maybe taking a swing at Grim isn't exactly the best idea you've ever had?" *giggles*

Hehe. That would have been funny. I didn't even realize how much Jon blended into the background.

Yeah what De said. I was like 'Kirstial the Grim Reaper's trying to do his job here, don't distract him with a pillow fight'. Then I realized Grimlock was melding into the dark background with his dark clothes.

Have to say I was glad to see Deena die the first time, and I'm glad to see her die the second time too.

Yeah, I felt no remorse at all killing Deena off a second time. It was kind of funny. I summoned her and Brody to Ophelia's lot and used the family tree to set their links. While I did that, Deena introduced herself to Brody and immediately had a bad conversation. I had Ophelia ask her to leave before she could meet anyone else, though.

I think I now have all the things set with Insim that I can set. The rest will have to be done via SimPE because they either didn't click like they should (like cousins or aunts/uncles) or it's stuff I want to set in SimPE anyway.

That is amusing. It's nice to know that some of the deaths in the rebuild are enjoyable, even for the sims!

How am I? Wishing I had more hours in my day as well. I desperately want to play and finish up the rotation and start a second one but instead I am writing a presentation for tomorrow.

I keep going back and forth between wanting to work on the rebuild and wanting to work on the next update. The rebuild has been winning over the update, but I think that's going to have to change soon. :} I really want the update out soon.

Very appropriate reaction there for those two :) At least some deaths are more enjoyable than others.

I understand completely about wanting more hours in the day to take care of everything.

Yeah, you're not alone in wanting more hours in the day. I haven't simmed in almost two weeks, and I won't be able to until at least Saturday...and that's IF I'm feeling better. I still have 9 chapters/parts of chapters to comment on. *sigh*

As for what I'm doing? Sitting at home because I'm sick, and avoiding writing a paper that's due on Saturday.
