I have a new userpic. I'm not completely happy with it, but I don't have any more time to play with it today.

For those of you that already know Order of the Stick, I was grinning like an idiot when I read the latest update. I've never been a huge Belkar fan, but I was never so happy to see someone go on a psychotic rampage of death and destruction. It was good to see the pint size misanthrope back on his feet.

For the rest of you, who are probably looking at my title and going, "wut?", Order of the Stick is one of the best webcomics out there. It is based on D&D gaming, but I don't think you really need to be familiar with that to enjoy this strip. The early strips rely heavily on in-game jokes, but Rich Burlew quickly veered into some pretty skilled storytelling.

In some ways, I think most Sims2 authors would get the shift in Order of the Stick. It's very similar to the way many legacies start off one way and suddenly become something else completely.

Regardless, it's good stuff. I love it. I highly recommend it. And I am so glad to see Belkar back.

The first panel of the second row of the most recent strip (The really large one) would work, I'd think, quite well as three-frame animated panel if one got rid of the writing on the wall in the background.

Focus on the guy talking, move a bit up and to the left, then move a bit further up and to the left to show Belkar in the mist.

I took a read at it, and it looks pretty interesting. I actually got interested in webcomics from your previous sidebar, with the link to Candi, by Starline-- if you know what I'm talking about?

I think I'll add this to my list-- I still have to catch up with Sorcery 101, Wapsi Square, and Anders loves Maria but the icon is pretty awesomesauce.

I thought of you and your 'Evilgasm' icon when I made this one. :)

Yay Belkar and his rampage of death and destruction!

Of course if he does save the day Haley will never hear the end of it.

Heh. I'd rather have Haley never hearing the end of it and alive than being dead and not owing Belkar anything. :)

Thank you! I am so far behind on OotS. I really need to catch up! But yeah go Belkar! As long as it's the bad guys. He really doesn't care. And yes we have to keep Haley alive. Otherwise we won't hear the end of it from Elan. ;)

OoTS :) I was planning on slipping in some of Belkar's phrases in the future of my legacy (which I really need to start working on again instead of just reading everyone else's).

I was also a fan on the "Creature in the Dark's" Phrase: You're broken bodies will taste delicious lightly seasoned with nutmeg!
