Oh God So Bored

Work has been interminably slow tonight. There's not a whole lot to do, so I've been twiddling my thumbs. The stuff I could or sould be working on in my spare time is just making my brain bleed out of my ears.

So, what are you doing for fun tonight while I suffer at work? (While you suffer at work, I'm usually asleep, so...)

I've just finished shooting the plotty scenes for my update while watching old Sherlock Holmes episodes on TV :). I'm waiting for Chris to finish eating and then he's going to help me be ruthless and cut the scenes I need to cut so I can get the update ready to be written.

I think I'm going to shock a few people with this update. A few things have happened that I haven't even hinted at, which is part of why I want to update. I'm really bad at keeping secrets! At least, my own secrets!

I had a very boring 2 hour meeting to go to and then rewarded myself with some sims time. I tried to build Ferd and Mag a house and am having not much luck with it. (I know what I want I just can't find a plan that will work for it and plans out of my head usually turn out not so good.) So I gave up on that and played Nelson and Emerald's house until Jade and Pearl turned into teens. Now I'm off to bed to try and get rid of a head ache.

Sorry work is boring. I hope you don't have to be there much longer.

Just got back from my brother's karaoke birthday party, and I had a lot more fun than I thought I would. I sand "Du Hast" by Rammstein and "La Bamba" by, well, originally Ritchie Valens but it was attributed to Los Lonely Boys. I'm thinking I should stick to songs in English. But I had fun, and that's what counts. Sorry you were bored at work!

I just passed 25K for NaNo which means I am happily still two days ahead of schedule and still have more energy to write before I go to bed ^_^

I work for http://www.pictometry.com/home/home.shtml. I work for the Processing Department, so I do a lot of quality review as well as product set-up. Our busy season is generally from any time in November to sometime in June. Unfortunately, it hasn't hit yet, so we're still waiting for work to start pouring in.

Oh gawd what a week. Exhausted, lots of tenseness at work. Made it through the day, not sure how, cleaned up some stuff at home, had some pasta with a glass of red wine, which I shouldn't have had because I am not losing any weight, but who cares. I was so wiped out that I fell asleep while Jon Stewart was talking to Bill O'Reilly. I actually slept through BillO and his carrying on and didn't wake up until my cat pawed me in the face. Gah.

Too tired to Sim. Really. I'm probably going to bed early. But I have some hopes of an update this weekend, so it'll get better.

Ooh, I'd love to see a Squeaky Clean update this weekend. I know I've missed seeing you 'around' quite as much, so it's pretty clear you've been busy. Hopefully work will let up for you a little with the holidays coming up closer? Though, of course, there are finals and papers and so on and so forth.

Sit at home bored out of my skull and wait for an idea for something to do in my sims game then, when the game loads, forget it and start playing by BACC neighborhood. Nothing interesting, I'd rather be at work.
