Okay, so it's not as if I really needed to add anything else to my distractions, but I got it into my head to do this and couldn't stop until I'd done it. This weekend was busier than I'd expected, so it was easier to fill my limited simming time putting this together than doing update stuff, but.. well. Y'know.

Click on the picture for all you needed to know about Sim State dormies.

P.S. At the very least I got a new LJ icon out if it! :)

I love how you described the Streakers as "adults who should know better" and then made a userpic out of them.

My Streakers have learned what happens to NPCs who are bad, and have been behaving themselves quite nicely.

I was surprised to see the number of dye jobs in the mix--I thought that started with OFB.

:) I love the streakers. I have much love for Parker Parker.

The dye jobs actually came in the base game. There's a few of them that aren't what they advertise themselves to be. I think Kaylynn Langerak is actually a blonde and Jan Tellerman is a brunette. I know there's a couple in there.

Jan Tellerman's a brunette? Huh. I knew Kaylynn and Remington were dyed, but I figured that was just an NPC thing. I didn't know that any non-NPCs were dyed before OFB. That's what I get for marrying playables to playables, I guess.

Don't quote me on that one. I know one of the blonde townies isn't what she says she is, but I can't remember which one. It could be Marisa Bendette. I'd have to find the Pleasantview Townies guide again. :)

Brilliant this is very useful. I was looking for a guide to the SSU dormies a few months ago and couldn't find one, so thanks for this.

Oh and I had no idea that the streakers were adults, that puts a whole new spin on them. Love the userpic BTW.

I forget why I was looking for one, but I wanted one recently. I think I wanted to take stock of what's left in the marriage pool. I'd like to get some recessives back in the house and I'm always curious to see how certain faces mix with other faces.

I think I learned that streakers were adults back at the beginning of the legacy. I kept having Taylor try and influence Parker to do his paper, but Parker didn't have the option. The only other time I'd seen that was when I had a downtownie on a Uni lot and thought he was a dormie. I realized then that adults don't get that option.

So that's where Elani got her red hair all this time I thought it was a hold out from Betty but it was from Sadie instead.

Love the user pic :) I'm pretty sad that Kitty is no longer an exhibitionist. Her streaker coding died in the rebuild.

Who was Elani's parent? :)

It's funny, I chose Katelynn Perry to be Chastity's mom over Jan Tellerman because I was sure that Jan dyed her hair. Little did I know, so did Katy. I would have been really shocked if Chastity had expressed brown hair.

Elani's red hair came from Grandmother Sadie who is the s4 female Romancer in the pink track suit. Sadie was married to Clint's son Christopher. Chris was at the Greek house with David. Her Grandfather Blair, the other recessive red gene, is the red haired knowledge sim with the Don Zombie face.

I knew that both of Chris's kids (Dannon and Darlene) had recessive red. Rather than actually looking at my notes, which show Chris as recessive blond (from Dina), I just assumed the red was from Betty.

I've been really clueless about genetics until recently. Shelby's made me learn a lot in a short amount of time. I found out that Elijah has recessive red, but he's only passing down recessive blonde to the kids so far.

I've had testing cheatsenabled in my userstartup for a very long time specifically for SimDNA usage. It's the first thing I check when a baby is born. Of course just because I jot down everyone's stats doesn't mean I remember to look at them :)

Hehe, of course. And I'm eagerly awaiting it! Of course, the Academie one won't be of any use to me. I've got nouniprotect in my game and I counted today--14 dead dormies so far. Think it might be time to take out the hack...

OH! When I do get around to Academie, I'm going to need some help figuring out who the streakers are. I know them from SSU because that's the one I play, but ALT and LFT are going to be harder to figure out.

True, true. I'll try to keep an eye out for the ones in my 'hood--to be honest, I've got no idea who the third one is, though I recognize two of them by sight.

In ALT, one of them is Skin 3, shaggy black hair, Mr. Big face. The female Streaker is the redhead with the Meadow Thayer face. The other two I have right now are a blonde guy with what might be the Topher-face, and a Skin 4 guy with Goopy-face, but one of those guys is a replacement for StreakerPerv with Mr. Big-face.

Awww man... that means my soon-to-be legacy founder's girlfriend (the "redhead" cheerleader) is really blackhaired. :P phooh.

And here I figured the reason all of the kids were black-haired was just a dominance thing (he's black-haired). -- and "the kids" (from the previous legacy attempts from long ago that died due to computer crashes).
Crud.

of course, they're not engaged yet, so I suppose I *could* try and hook him up with someone else...

How do you know what the kids look like if they're not engaged yet? :)

There's nothing wrong with black hair. It's one of my favorite hair colors. It's just fun getting the surprise recessive occasionally.

I didn't explain that clearly...

I had attempted this legacy twice before..each attempt died out due to computer crashes and me not backing my neighborhood up. The kids from those prior attempts all had black hair.

I blames my headache on my lack of clarity. :)

Fantastically useful thank you.

Damn I was hoping there were more Romance Sims than that though, I was searching around Sim State hoping there was at least one who hadn't been set to straight by Aria, but from your guide it looks like she got them all. Well now it looks like I can go sift through my small army of respawns to find new ones that might be gay...

And good to know about the dyed hair too.

I've been noticing a distinct repetitiveness of Face Templates at Sim State among the girls too...

I noticed the repetitiveness among the guys more. There are a bunch of Remington face guys, several of them all blonde.

You know, for your gay sim needs, you could always switch one of the existing romance dormies to bi instead of straight. It's easy enough to do with ACR.

This is great to know! I've definitely got my favorites. Also, the up side of my having stupidly created a second university and then deleted it is that I have a second set of the Uni dormies, though not the NPCs. That's helpful, because I can marry one version in and still have one left over for later.

Sadly, this is making me miss Veronaville and the Academie La Tour, and I really don't have time to play it!

It was fun getting to see some of my favorites again. Christian, Charlie, Genesis, so on. :) I've thought about adding in Academie or LFT as a secondary Uni to get more dormies, but eh... I'm good with what I have. Doing this helped me pick out a couple of dormies I might like to marry in eventually.

I'm really curious about Blue Hair Guy at the Academie. O wait. . . that was Alan in Piratical? Or Other Alan?

My brain is dead today, I think.

Piratical-Alan is my Tom, he's Face Two, green eyes, brown hair, Skin 4, Popularity Leo. Blue Hair Guy at Academie is Skin 1, I think, and has the Brandon Lillard-face, so I don't think he's Other-Alan.

Shannon. :)

Alan and Shannon, the dynamic duo. Other Alan was the one who married Celeste, the youngest of the 2nd generation. He was the Don the Zombie of Sarah's ALT, I think.

I really would like to do it for all three uni's, so I hope to get to LFT and ALT soon. I need to get a pseudo update out first, though. Also, I'm going to need some help with LFT, so if you could share some pictures of your streakers, that would be immensely helpful. :)

I hope I didn't come across as trying to pressure you into hurrying with it or anything. I was more just thinking out loud. But since you asked, I have this particular streaker picture that I've been looking for an excuse to post somewhere.

http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm50/leaths/snapshot_d4510f14_960f76fa.jpg

He's usually quite naked so I'm not sure what was happening with him that day. Costume party on campus somewhere maybe?

Hah! That's an awesome picture. I know I occasionally have the streakers show up in clothes when the weather's cold, but if it's warm, they usually come naked.

And no worries. I do want to do LFT and ALT, but it may be a little bit before I get to them. :)

This is extremely useful! And I love the icon.

Luckily, I hadn't married in any of the Hair Dye Jobs, but I didn't know that Dormies had the same problem; I thought that was only with OFB. Thanks for that heads up. :D It's a great way to plan out future genetics, too.

And I'm praying that you do Academie le Tour next. :D

This is a wonderful guide. As others have mentioned, it will be wonderful to have one for each of the three university neighbourhoods.

As a side note, looking through the list of all the various dormies made me smile. So many of them have been married into legacies and are now so much more than just a dormie. I know I definitely have my favorites :)
