Cuteness Within

I was out of town Friday night and most of Saturday, but late Saturday night and Sunday I got some playing in. It was nice to get reacquainted with my sims.

I realized that I pretty much don't have to play anything to do the update I need to. All I need are staged scenes for this next one, so there's no reason to actually play forward at all. Unfortunately, it had also been about three months since I'd gotten any playtime with them. I needed it pretty bad.





Louise has grown up into an wonderfully fun child and Oz is an absolutely adorable toddler. Right now they're both very typically 'cute'. From playing around with Louise in Bodyshop/CAS, I'm pretty sure she's going to get some of Shelby's features when she hits teen or young adult and I'm guessing Oz will do the same.

It bothers me a little that Shelby's features don't express at the younger stages. I wonder if this is going to affect the next generation too. I also wonder if there's anything I can do to fix the issue since Shelby is indeed pregnant again. Super Fertility for the win! She and Elijah rolled a 7 when they had a 10% chance of getting pregnant.

Hooray for Shelby getting pregnant again! Ozzy and Louise are completely adorable. Hopefully that translates well once they start expressing Shelby's features too, but even if not I'm sure you'll give them adorable enough personalities that facial oddities will be a feature.

I'm not too worried about the facial thing. I mean, I expect some facial asplodeyness, but they'll be fine. I just wish they at least hinted at what they'd look like now rather than wearing so much of the face one/two cuteness.

I really don't get it since Tina married in someone with Shelby's features and her kids showed the genetics right away.

I already have that in my game. Have had it for a while. It doesn't seem to help, unless it only helps before the sim is created, in which case Shelby's been in the game for a long time.

The toddler table rocks. It has some space issues so it's not good for a small nursery, but I love how it provides two sills (mechanical and creativity) and it allows children to actually gain relationship points with toddlers. For the first time ever I've got children who are friends with their little siblings.

As for the face issue, I have no idea if you can get them to express it at earlier ages. In my game, they do, but I'm not sure how to fix it.

Soooo cute! Damn it everytime someone posts baby pictures I go to my gooshy *Looks it's a baby! Nothing else in the world matters place*. Sigh, this is why I would make a good family sim.

I like Oz's hair too. Is that CC or an EP I don't have? It really works with the shirt, he looks like a kind of cool disheveled laid back type of guy.

As Josh said, it's from the Sims2 store. THAT, though is from a conversion Fanseelamb at MTS2 did so the hair style is useable for all ages.

As another comment on the look... I love that hair style. I'm not sure if he'll keep it forever, though. He's a neatnick and semi-serious. I can see him wearing his hair a little more conservative when he gets older. Right now that style is just too adorable.

Awwww baybeez! They're both unbelievably cute.

I still kind of like the idea of those ninja features. I can see where it would be bothersome if you want to know what your kids are going to look like from day one, but it makes things interesting when you get surprise facial features at different stages. Then again I'm saying that as an observer, not as a simmer, so take that as you will. :P

I don't mind some change as they grow, but it bothers me that they show no hint of their future facial features. I mean, that's NOT the nose that Louise ends up with when she gets older (if Bodyshop and CAS holds true).

Ever since I heard you were doing the BC. I thought, "oh no, I want more main Legacy!" But I think it was an "awesome" break from the main story. I wasn't much for Miranda in the beginning, but she has grown on me, and I just love who she got to marry! I hope to see more of them soon.

Cuuute! That Oz, my goodness, ya just want to pinch his cheeks (just a funny typo, I accidentally typed "punch"). Their playroom just looks fabulous. The whiteness really lets the color in their clothes and the play table stand out. You do realize, they match the table. Orange and red!
