Day Four is done and up!

Initially when I sat down to write last night, I wanted to force myself to get through the hot tub scene, which was giving me fits. Once I found WHAT to have them talk about, it was easier, and soon I was pushing through the whole thing. By the time I was done, I realized I could get it up last night which made me happy. Now I can get working on Days 5 & 6, which I'm probably going to combine into one. I'll probably do an epilogue for the wedding itself.

For Days 5 & 6, I've got all the traditional BC footage shot, but none of the plotty stuff. Since I'm going to try and make this one the finale, there's going to be more plotty and some of it is going to be fairly complicated to shoot. So, I'm hoping to have it done soon, but that probably means at least a week or two at this point.

Now for the picspam!

Cecil finds a woman that knows the importance of cleanliness to be incredibly sexy.

While he doesn't stalk her as badly as Dean or Farnsworth did, he does follow her around with a wide variety of stuff in his queue. He's not queued up any autonomous romantic actions up to this point, but he always wants to tickle, tell joke, play catch, or just chat.

The formal outfit I have him in is one of the Regency outfits from Club Crimsyn's TSR sets. I think it was by Aikea-Guinea. I probably should have gone for their more Victorian style outfits, but this is what I already had in game, and I think he looks damn good in it.

It shouldn't have surprised me, but it did. Taking part in a toast increases cuisine enthusiasm. Huh.

The toast was a fun addition to the 'cocktail party'. I was a little worried about them mothing the champagne bottle, but they didn't. One toast that I directed them to do and that was it. I'm wondering if the incessant toasting is more related to weddings or if they've changed the coding on it somewhat with the latest expansions. Because of the pee factor, I rarely pull this item out, even though I do like the idea of it.

IMMEDIATELY after the toast, Dean walked up to Miranda and started dancing with her. The first time they danced together were the pictures I included after hot tubbing. That seems to have broken the seal, so to speak, because now they're CONSTANTLY dancing together. It's really rather cute.

One bit of the cocktail party that I didn't get to include was the beach scene. I had Miranda light the camp fire and a few of them gathered around to chit chat. It didn't last that long, and I ended up cutting it to streamline things a bit. Besides, one less random conversation to write is a win win situation for me.

Creepy Nice Scott is Creepy Nice.

He doesn't seem to do the creepy smile that often, but whenever engaged in a direct chat (or share interests), he pulls it out. He's adorable, but this smile does creep me out just a little.

The game of 'Let Me Kill You With A Softball' was completely autonomous. The moment I saw those two going to play catch, I knew I was going to get some great shots. They're both mean enough that they try and kill anyone they play with.

I think Dwight wins for the best 'GRR' faces.

But Cecil is right up there with the indignant faces, or in this case, the "Oh my god, I need to catch this or my nose will be inside my face momentarily" face.

Even though this is supposed to be a remote island, it's still in the neighborhood, so there are familiar walkbys on occasion. Strangely enough, it's actually been Jeremiah that's the most common walkby. Even though he and Miranda are BFF, he never invites himself in the house. I think it might be the shyness.

Heather, on the other hand, has no such reservations.

I'd noticed her walking by and snapped the first picture, then went to focus on the hot tubbing. When I moved back into the house to do something else, I noticed her playing pool. Well crap. That's not going to work with the story. So, Scott asked her to leave. (Scott did some bird watching, then I set him to doing some cleaning while the hot tubbing was going on. He's a good sport.)

Of course, Heather wasn't the only familiar walkby we had. I have NO idea why Cassius is doing the pimp walk here since he couldn't have had any romantic interactions queued up. He's also a BFF of Miranda, but he didn't stay. He walked up to the house, then pimped off.

No new hearts went flying on Day Four, but there was a flurry of Best Friends being made which made Miranda quite happy and very platinum.

I find Dean's face hilarious in this picture. He looks quite irritated that she showed him the chest pound and he had no idea what she was talking about. But he still likes her for it.

Cecil threw the next set of smiley faces.

Quickly followed by Scott. Which makes sense if you take into account that the two of them have evenly matched scores.

Ah Dwight.. I was figuring he would be the one to go home since his score was slightly behind the others, but I wasn't expecting him to reject the caress. It wasn't quite as much of a shock as it was with Farnsworth, but still. He was only a couple of points behind the other guys and they all accepted it without issue. I know the rejection wasn't motive distress either, because I made sure everyone had happy needs before the flirts.

He's been fun to have in the house, and I'm going to miss his angry shyness. He makes some of the BEST faces and underneath the GRR is a really sweet guy. I know why Jenn loves him so much.

Now on to the plotty scenes.

I got it into my head that Annie would be blindfolded, which meant I had to go in search of a blindfold. This was actually harder than I thought it was going to be. There's one over on InSim, but it's really blocky and ugly looking.

I finally found this one on a site that has lots of naked sims doing things that Will Wright never intended. It's kind of crappy in game and you have to remove the sim's eyebrows to make work, but for the brief amount of time I needed it, it worked.

The other cc issue I ran into involved the crew of Good Guys. I initially wanted to have them set up in some sort of commando outfits or the SWAT outfits they get in the police career track. Unfortunately, I couldn't find unlocked versions and I wasn't patient enough to put them all in the career track and get the outfits I wanted.

So, I improvised.

Jack obviously got the pirate suit. Once I decided on it, I fell in love with how appropriate it was. It also lead to the whole Pirate Island reference. Ivy went with something a bit more dangerous looking, but it also has green in it which makes it more appropriate for a jungle setting. Riiight. BoomBoom kept his same outfit just because he's cool like that.

For Sunny, the dress would never cut it. This is a serious mission with the team having to camp out on the beach as they did their business. At the same time, it's a beach! So, her hair and her outfit changed. While you can't see her bottom half here, she's wearing Sentate's rolled up jeans which seems really appropriate for Sunny somehow. I also really like her with this hairstyle.

I've been SO excited about adding these two to the mix. I know people are going to think me insane for adding some of the worst villains into my game, but they're so much fun. Julia's a schemer and she knew she could no longer count on Rhys (and she's never liked Uranium), so it was time to bring in some new blood to give her an advantage. HOW they actually got there should be addressed in the next part of the story.

I kept this a secret as much as possible. The only person who may have even had a clue was DocNerd, because I had to ask her about Cypress. He was no longer on her downloads page. In the end, I used Larch and just changed the look. They really were identical clones.

For Aria, I kept giggling every time I shot her, because I really wanted this to be a surprise for Jamie. When I decided Julia would get reinforcements, I knew I had to download Aria.

I love my animation hacks. Lancelot has been making the most use of the model poses hacks, since I can sit him on his bed and have him still be engaged in the conversation. I also used it with Rhys in the scene where he catches Devon.

With Lipschitz, I discovered that the 'Watch - Worry' animation in Hula & More is set up just perfect for these bars. It looks like he's grabbing the bars, which is just perfect. I over used it a bit, but I fell in love with it.

The 'grab Hello' animation was actually the 'cuffer' and 'cuffee' from Aikea-Guinea's animation hacks. This shot was actually much better as far as the placement of their hands, but Hello had a glitched smile stuck on her face. Actuall, she ALWAYS looks like she's smiling, but this one was a glitched smile.

Even though they're time consuming and slow my writing down, this stuff is an example of why I LOVE doing plotty scenes that let me try and evoke a specific thing.

For this scene, I had Hello looping the 'Embarrassed' animation from Hula & More while Rhys and Uranium were going through a series of cued up argument interactions from Decorgal's Talk Animation Painting. I used 'moveobjects on' and 'boolprop snapobjectstogrid false' and then set them up. Nudging Rhys and Uranium closer together really made it look like they were getting in each other's faces, which was just perfect.

I like the composition of this picture better than the one I actually used, but it's more obvious that their eyes aren't lining up properly. This one looks like Uranium is going to bite Rhys' nose off.

Don't pet the tummy, Rhys. Just don't do it.

Of course, it's a little late for that. While I was shooting the prison break scene, he was outside stalking Uranium. They played catch the entire time and he got heatstroke from it. Silly Rhys.

(As a side note, I made a mistake and shot the prison break scene during the day, so I had to edit out the windows that showed it was daylight. Oops)

Anyway, there you go. I'm really excited to hear how people liked this one since I think this one pretty much reveals all the players that are involved or going to be involved in the story. I'm hoping to get the next one out soon, but it'll still probably be a couple of weeks.

Best. surprise. EVER! I still have not stopped being an over excited mess about Aria! Yes I'm a spazz what of it? :D (Although it was a little akward answering question from my mother about why I can't stop grinning and bouncing up and down :D )

Ok, trying hard to appear like I'm a normal person and not completely insane...

...I LOLed at the picture of Cecil stalking Miranda in the kitchen. Heartfarting her as she washed the dishes all seemed a little wrong to me. Maybe because I have a friend who, when I wash dishes after we've had a meal, likes to make very fetishictisc inneundos about the dishes being 'dirty'. I should really know when not to say things out loud...or type them out loud...

I'm still completely rooting for Dean of course.

For some reason, probably that I'm an idiot, I thought you were actually shooting this on Twikki Island. That you'd had Miranda move in with all the bachelors, buy a house there and do a week long vacation. But then I realized that wouldn't actually work for moving the Bachelors out would it? I was still surprised that she was in the original hood though.

Lol at Cassius and the pimp walk!
