I like to sleep. I like it quite a bit. But it's a bit irritating how much time it takes up. Sometimes, I wish that I could sleep in a pocket dimension that compresses the time that is actually required to sleep. So, I could hop into my little pocket dimension and sleep for a nice, lazy ten hours and still get up and have twenty or so hours to do what I want with the day.

Work has gone into pseudo-mandatory-overtime. We've reached the point where there's a two month delay between photograph session and finished order being delivered to client. Apparently this is standard crunch time from now until Christmas. I'm going to liket he money, but I already miss my putter time. Not that I'm ever very productive, but still. There's not enough time in the day to do everything I want.

Of course, when I wasn't working and had all the time in the day to do as I wished, I didn't have enough money to do the things I wanted. It's funny how life likes to kick you in the teeth like that.

*sigh* Time to go crawl into bed.

Y'know, the same thing happened to me once. I was working construction, at a gold mine in Elko, Nevada. Now, I don't know if you've ever been to Elko, but it has a single movie theater and the hottest spot in town is the Dairy Queen. At the same time, we were working 10 hour days, with one day off every two weeks, to try and get this cyanide leech tank finished in time.

Anyhow, you end up working so much you don't have time to spend the money you make. It's definitely a drain while it's going on, but it's not entirely bad either.
