So, I had a need for some Sim Ninja. (This post will heavily involve the Sims and the Pseudo Legacy, so if you're a friend that doesn't care about that, you may want to stop reading now.)

The next Pseudo update is pretty much ready to be written. I've even written the first scene. So, 5 out of 130 slides down. Woohoo. I would have liked to have had it out by Valentine's Day, since it would have been appropriate, but that wasn't going to work. Hopefully I'll have it out by sometime this coming week.

This upcoming update will involve weddings as the cover pic I posted on boolprop attests. (http://ang.mux.net/simpics/legacytitle4-5.jpg). There's some other stuff going on, but nothing too plotty, though you might get a glimpse of ninjas.

The update after that will be the quest, which I am anxious to get to. I have actually not shot any of the pictures for the quest, so that will actually allow me to play again, even if I won't be getting into the rotation of houses. I'm still not quite sure how the logistics of all this are going to work. I have the quest coming up and another major plotline involving Ian. I am not sure if they're going to be happening simultaneously or consecutively. In some ways, I guess that will depend on how Shelby does on the quest vacations... since she and Elijah had the temerity to already go ahead and get pregnant. If I can't get her through the vacations for the quest without popping, I'm probably going to have to stretch it over two updates and generation five will be born in the middle of the quest.

I'm really anxious to see generation five. I already have two children in the spare families, but they're both babies. I've not allowed me to age them up yet until I get the next update out. Alpha and Beta are almost ready to turn into teenagers too, so the Parker/Toyanaga/Thompson house needs playing. On top of that, Victoria and CHarlie are due to go with the Reaper the next time I play, so the Thompson house will have some heavy stuff.

I keep running into the joy and the agony of playing a plotty legacy. On one hand, I'm really happy with the story I'm telling. I like where things are going and how things are shaping up. On the other hand, my writing speed does not match my playing speed and I want to see some of the mundane stuff. I want to see the babies!

Oooohh! I'm most intrigued by these ninja teasers. And yay for plotlines involving Ian!

My legacy isn't nearly as plotty as yours but boy do I feel you on that last point. My turtle paced writing really irks me.
