Interviewification

I had an interview yesterday. I think it went well. I have a little bit of an inside track considering I am friends with one of the programmers there and used to work with one of the other people in the position I'm applying for. Of course, I don't know if that's going to mean anything in the long run. We'll see.

They said they're going to start calling people next week to bring them on board. There'll be a month of training, and then either settle into day shift (8am-4pm M-F) or night shift (6pm-2am Su-Th). The bus ride will be a pain if I get day shift. For night shift, I know someone who can give me a ride. Of course, this job pays a bit more than the last one I had, so I'll be better equipped to deal with the car situation sooner.

I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but.. y'know.

Ain't it great? I like it too. I wish I remembered who made it... somebody at Otakon.

As a result of that icon I almost never use this one anymore...
