The Fuzzy Uglies and Crazy Roommates

They're here! They're here! The fuzzy uglies of 2006 are hatching.

For those that don't know what I'm harping on about, for the past several years, there's been a falcon nest at the top of the Kodak tower that's monitored by cameras that regularly upload pictures to the internet. The two falcons that have been nesting here are rather prolific. The last several years running, they've had five eggs in each clutch. This year, though, they had SIX! This is a HUGE clutch of eggs for them.

Eitherway, I always wait for the babies to start hatching. They're so ugly and cute at the same time. Right now, four of the six eggs have hatched. The link to the webcam is at http://www.kodak.com/go/birdcam. Mama's pretty protective still, so you probably won't see them too often, but she's nice enough to look at by herself.

In Crazy Roommate news, we have Case of Little Debbie's Mistaken Identity. I'd bought a pack of snack cakes this weekend. I'd had one on Sunday, but that was it. Monday I went to have them and I couldn't find them. Marnie was already in bed, so I couldn't ask her.

This morning, I asked her about them and she gave me this 'Deer in the Headlights' look and asked, "Those were yours?" Yeah. What'd you do with them? "I threw them out." YOU WHAT?

Apparently, she thought they were hers, but since she couldn't remember buying them, they must be old, so they needed to be thrown out.

God she makes my head hurts.
