Argh.. Roommate

orikesWe have these neighbors across the street. They've had the cops over there dozens of times, they've had fist fights out in the yard with a ton of people. They're not neighbors we really want around.
My roommate just came in to tell me a 'funny' anecdote about how the kid from across the street woke her up at 10am yesterday morning by incessently ringing the doorbell until she answered. When she did, he told her he needed to use the phone to call his brother. She LET him use our phone. Our phone that's in MY name. She said it sounded like he was making a drug deal.
And she thought this was a funny story. And was shocked when I blew up at her.
I don't know that the kid was really doing anything illegal, since it would be awfully stupid of him to do it right in front of the person whose phone he's borrowing, but that's far beyond the point. Even beyond that, she knew this kid was from the house across the street that has the cops there all the time. The cops were just there the other day to take their dog away from them.
ARGH.
