The Mighty Hunters, Part 2

I got home last night and walked a couple of times over a fuzzy lump on the floor of the hallway. This is nothing new since the cats have several fuzzy toys about the same size. On about the third time passing over, though, I realized.. it wasn’t quite right.

Turning on the overhead light, I discovered a dead mouse. Glad the roommate wasn’t home, I got some paper towel and picked it up. I swear, the poor thing looks like one of the cats crushed its head. And then licked it for a while.

I guess I’m just glad I didn’t find it in my bed.

Can't you just see Pashenko licking a poor mouse to death? He was probably very sad when his toy stopped playing with him.

Hopefully it happened in that order. Ah well. Inevitability. And much much better for you to find it than your roommate! It was nice of you to handle disposal. I'll say a lil' mousey prayer that sums up to: "Better luck next time, dude."
