orikesI hate being down. Being one of ‘those’ people who only has stuff to mope or complain about just irritates me. The few people I whined to reassured me that I was just being normal, but still… I don’t like myself when I get like that.
I am starting to come out of it now, though. Yesterday I was worried a bit that my bummed outlook might also be from getting sick since I took a nap and I *NEVER* take naps. Today I feel okay, so it’s probably not a cold or anything sneaking up on me.
In other news, I may have a line on a part-time job. Thursday, I met with another temp agency and they have a company that hires a bunch of part-time people for a fund raiser type of job. I’d be annoying people calling them and asking for money, but at least it’s not selling anything. I have an interview with them Wednesday morning, and the temp agency lady seemed to think I’d be a shoo-in, especially since I did this exact thing while I was in college ages ago. The pay won’t be enough to get me back on my feet, but will keep me from losing basic stuff like phone and internet (yes, to me it’s a basic necessity, so bite me!~), as well as keeping groceries in the house.
AetherII is going really well. The official opening was on Friday and we’re already seeing really nice log in numbers. Heck, we were seeing really nice log in numbers BEFORE the official opening. It’s amazing the response the game has been getting. All in all, it makes the work poured into the reopening feel very satisfying and rewarding. I really missed the game, and I think a lot of other people did too.
Occasionally it’s been stressful when dealing with the standard staffly woes, but for the most part, it feels good and not bad yet. If it starts feeling too bad, someone get a crowbar and pry me away from the staff bit so I can still enjoy the RP there.
