Ultraviolet

One of the good things about being sick is that when I'm not feeling like crawling under a rock, I get to watch DVDs. One of the DVDs I have had on loan for about six months is the British Mini-series called Ultraviolet. The folks I borrowed it from told me I'd like it, but for some reason, I never quite got around to watching it.

Well, they were right. It's very good stuff. I highly recommend it to anyone who doesn't absolutely require that their science fiction and vampire stories be super special effects extravaganzas.

I first saw that as UltraVIOLENT and thought -- gee whiz, they made a series based on 'A Clockwork Orange'?

LOL. Yes, you are a dork, but that's really an easy mistake. I made it too when I first saw the title. :) But no, it's Ultraviolet. Basically they need to look at someone under ultraviolet light to see if they've been bitten, and thereby 'influenced' by vampires.

It's just an excuse to have weirdly-lit rave scenes! (no, I actually know nothing about it, but thanks for the suggestion!)
