Spinning Wheels

orikesLately I feel like I’m spinning my wheels and getting nowhere.
There’s so much I need to do and not quite enough time or motivation to actually do all of it, so I end up doing some and not getting enough done.
- I need to finish excavating the computer room so the new rug and ceiling tiles can be put in.
- I need to get out to Uncle Gary’s and pick up the pad to go under the rug in there and in the living room.
- I need to get to Home Depot and actually buy the ceiling tiles. I should also buy a razor and a big ruler to cut them evenly.
- I need to finish working on Superlink Secret Files: Organized Crime. It’s one of those things that’s been put to the side and that’s not fair to the other people involved. (This one I’m actually going to get done this weekend, hell or high water.)
- I need to figure out how feasible it is to strip and refinish the dining room table. It’s a nice, sturdy little table with two big leaves, but it looks like crap.
- I need to get the storm windows in and the porch swing taken down.
- I need to come up with a decent design for the TPK website. That one needs to be worked on so it can be ready to go when the Organized Crime book is ready to be released. Also need to check with JT on website/domain name stuffs.
- I need to finish up some stuff on CBTB. There’s some plots that have been left dangling through no one’s fault but my own. I’ve also got a couple other plots I want to get running. Madison could also use a little bit of life injected into her.
- I need to redesign my own website and get my portfolio and my resume up to date. While I like the job I have and don’t have any major plans on going anywhere, I need to have stuff up to date.
- I need to work on getting some stuff together for my M&M game so I’m not scrambling so bad when it’s suddenly my turn to run. I do pretty good when I’ve got stuff prepared, I just need to learn to work in advance.
- I need to finish statting up and write a history for my Halfling rogue for Doug’s game. I’m pretty sure he’d like to play sooner or later.
- I need to do some artwork again. Just some character drawings if nothing else.
I look at this list and I start to get overwhelmed. I’m not sure which direction is up and what to do first. As a result, very little actually gets done when it’s supposed to be done. *sigh*
