They Stopped For Coffee
Oct. 15th, 2005 01:16 pmSo, I ran my game last night.
The set-up was that they had a woman coming to meet with the group to help them with costumes (ala Edna Mode, but without the wonderful accent), but she was kidnapped after landing at the Denver airport. I had stated that the characters were all getting up and someone was cooking breakfast when an alarm went off. Paranoid buggers that they are, they thought someone had broached their base's security systems. Instead it was a message that the plane had been attacked and the woman had been kidnapped.
They immediately started gearing up and came up with a nifty way of trying to track the woman (so I gave them a 4-block area that they were pretty sure she was in), loaded up into the jeep and had Morgan fly them to just outside of the Denver city limits.
Darius (the cosmic powered former thief) is driving, and he announces, "I pull into the next Starbucks I see."
"Huh?"
"I want coffee."
"Ookay.."
They did get one for the kidnapped woman, though.
