What Day Is It?

orikesFor a whlie, I was thinking today was Tuesday. I was starting to stress out that I had two more ten hour days ahead of me still this week. Especially if they were going to be like today.
I prefer our phones to be quiet (I'm a lazy person), but I can handle when they're busy. What I can't handle is when I get several DUMB customers in a row. This afternoon, it seemed like that's all I was getting.
- The little old lady who was confused by her manual, so I had to read this one section about six times to her. I kept having to dumb what I was saying down. I still don't think she understood me.
- The kid calling on behalf of his non-English speaking family who started screaming in the background because I wasn't going to just send them a new camera. They were using alkaline batteries in the camera and complaining that the camera was eating the batteries. They weren't willing to try better batteries (rechargeable or CRV3 Lithium batteries) and got even more upset when I told them that I could set it up for a repair, but if they didn't start using better batteries, they'd have the same problem. They eventualy demanded to speak to a supervisor.
- The stoner who spent 15 minutes babbling at me about paper for his printer dock. His question should have taken about two minutes, but he kept talking and talking and talking and talking...
- The Wal-Mart employee who sent a customer's camera to a repair center without talking to us first and was getting pissy with me because I didn't have any information on it. (The repair center is a second party company employed by Kodak to repair cameras.)
I'm glad that it's almost time to go home.
