What do you use as an e-mail program?

I've been using Eudora for years and I'm comfortable with it, but I'd like to get some more spam protection. Eudora offers it, but only in the paid version, which is $49.95 per year. For that price, I want more than 12 months of protection. So, I've decided to consider other e-mail options.

Whatcha use?

What I use: Mail.app on my Mac. :) Outlook at work because I have to.

What I'd recommend: Thunderbird.

Eudora.

My ISP is Earthlink: I have my spam prevention level set with Earthlink so that I am Whitelisting. If I do now -allow- a sender, I'll never see their mails.

I use Thunderbird with Mozilla FireFox, but I also have a firewall (Zone Alarm -- Free!), Spyware Blaster (Free!), AVG Antivirus (Free!), and not much targets Mozilla yet. :)

I've been holding off on getting Firefox. I wasn't very happy with Mozilla before Firefox. I think I was too used to IE. Maybe I'll give it a try now, though. I'll check my harddisk space and see how much room I've got before I go downloading more stuff. :)

we started using mozilla thunderbird a few months ago, and i quite like it. you can set up filters for spam. never have to look at it unless you want to. scott could probably tell you more about it.
