Yesterday I got to go to the Sterling Renaissance Festival. (Yeah, I probably should have posted yesterday, but I'm lazy.) It's probably about the tenth time or more I've gone since I first went back in 1988. It's a great RenFaire and definitely worth going to if you're in the area for it.

There's crafts galore of all sorts. There's both the kind that will satisfy the inner geek as well as the person who simply likes artsy cool stuff. There's shows and performances and actors wandering around who do quite the wonderful job of it. There's also good food that's not outrageously expensive. I got an absolutely sinful piece of mousse cake that was under $4.

And of course, there are pictures! Howabout a beggar man?

Okay, so this next one isn't very RenFesty, but I had to share the back of my friend's car. This is, for those that have heard of her, Doctor Angela. She's the other gaming Angela in my group. Anyway, can you guess who she voted for last November? Hmmm? :)

You make me feel homesick. I worked Sterling for years, and attended for years before that.

Sterling is wonderful. I convinced a couple of gaming friends to go last year even though they were a little leery since they thought it was an offshoot of the Tuxedo Ren Fest. They were quite impressed.

I more than likely attended some of the years you worked there.
