The E.G.O. Project!
Jun. 6th, 2005 11:53 pmI'm still nervous about running a tabletop game, but I'm also starting to get a little bit excited about this. Four of the five characters are done. The fifth player is our 'sleeper'. She often falls asleep during games. I don't want to discount her because I really like her, but at the same time, I'm not as worried about her not having a character.
What's kinda funny is the difference between the characters the players came up with. The tightest concept belongs to the player who really didn't care about how effective her stats are as long as they fit the concept. She also ended up with extra points at the end that I had to tell her to spend. (Only 3, but still.) The player who probably has the most experience with games (our resident addict - he has a collection of games to make anyone jealous) was the one who I ended up having to tone down from number crunching. He's still got at least 10 points he needs to trim off his sheet.
I'd share more about the campaign setting and my intended plot, but one of those players happens to actually follow my livejournal which means I can't really say too much. Though.. he is playing the character with precognition. ;)
