orikesIf you've never heard of Fluxx, I'm here to fix that. If you've never played Fluxx, I highly recommend you do so. The game is extremely addicting and a load of fun with four or so people.
Fluxx is a game I discovered last year at a local con. It's quick, it's unpredictable and the only requirement is that you be able to read and follow directions. The rules are always changing and strategy is something you can often toss out the window. I addicted my gaming group to it, and they've been trying to spread the infection ever since. So far, it's been taken to Toronto, New Jersey, and Texas.
In other news, I just finished reading Dead Beat by Jim Butcher. This is the seventh book in the Dresden Files series, and if you haven't read it yet, I can't recommend it more highly. The series is absolutely amazing. There is a perfect blend between drama and humor. Each book so far has contained two or three moments that cause me to laugh out loud, yet never once do I not -believe- the seriousness and danger of the situations going on in the book. Read them. Or I shall gush at you some more.
