I'm not really a huge fan of the movie remakes we've been getting of television shows from the 70's and 80's. I've enjoyed some of them (Starsky and Hutch was grand fun, and you had to like the Brady Bunch for being so tongue in cheek), but most I've just skipped past (I still haven't seen Scooby Doo). But this one.. this one looks fun.

I was addicted to Dukes of Hazard for their first two seasons. I think I was in fourth and fifth grade at the time. Maybe fifth and sixth. After that, I really got annoyed with the repetitive plots, so turned my nose up at it. You can't really accuse me of being a die hard fan, but this movie just looks.. well. Nostalgicly fun.

Neither actor is as cute as the originals were back in their day, but I can deal with that. And Willie Nelson as Uncle Jesse? That's perfect.
