Finally Writing

I've finally gotten some actual writing done on the BC. It took some doing, but I finally found the tone I needed to get through the opening and the introductions.

I'd thought of it before it was suggested, but I ended up having the introductions narrarated by a couple of the background people. Basically, Devon Decker, the producer and his technical assistant, Annie.



The 'set' they're in has been set up for a while, I just wasn't sure I would use it this early.

As another bit of trivia, 'Devon' and 'Annie' are actually two Maxis sims that I gave makeovers to for this. When I needed Devon for the scene with Miranda, I didn't want to create a whole new sim to add to the game. So I grabbed this pre-made guy, gave him a makeover and a new 'name'. I decided to do the same thing when I needed his assistant.

Can anyone guess who they are?

1. Yaaaayz! I so want to read this. No pressure. But I so want to read this.

2. I am so lousy at the "guess the Sim" stuff. You can fool me about 80-90% of the time with dyed hair.

3. Is there any significance to the fact that Annie seems to have red eyebrows, or am I just seeing things?

1. I want to get it out by Saturday. I need an update of some sort done in May to make myself feel like I'm actually accomplishing what I should be. Now it's just a matter of writing it to see if I can get it done.

2. For me, it's so obvious because I've played both of them, so I know their looks. I think if you haven't played them, it might not be so easy.

3. Yes, there is significance to her red eyebrows. :) Johnny actually got her right in his guess down below.

Hmm... since Terra Lostundo is Custom Made, it has to be one of the ones I already have in my neighborhood bin. Were they originally Pre-Made in the Bin, or NPCs. And I don't know if they originated in college either. I was thinking the Larson twins... no.

I'm not sure if I have the Larson twins in my neighborhood. I have the Sim State Uni hood. Otherwise than that, I just have the basic Maxis sim bin sims.

I think 'Annie' is Tara Kat (I think that's her name)
1- because she has red eyebrows, and Tara is a red-head, and 2- because they look fairly similar, but I can't remember since I haven't played her for ages.

I can't really see Devon, but is he a Sim from a family in the House bin as well? The space-ship-futuritic family that also comes with Pets?

I'm very excited for the BC!

"Devon" looks a lot like Cid Roseland to me, with that nose...lol.

You got his first name wrong, but you're right. :) It's Cyd Roseland.

And it looks like Devon has brown eyebrows under there, which would jive with Cyd Roseland. Devon looks very Face 2-y, and I don't remember Cyd looks like, though.

He looks pretty Cydish to me as well Cyd has that same type of mouth, but if the eyebrows are actually brown and not black then it's not Cyd as I'm almost positive that Cyd has black hair. But Cyd's the only one that fits the neighborhood and the original appearance time frame (ie can't be Cooke).

Actually, Cyd has brown hair.

Up until very recently, he held my 'studio' lot. I built him a house that had a big attached area for the vampire clan and in the backyard was a permanent bluescreen for my covers. I recently moved him because I wanted to do something else with that house, but I'd turned him into 'Devon Decker' before that. When I'm done with this plot, he'll go back to being Cyd.

I think I agree with the three above posts. I have rarely played Cyd, but I was playing about an hour ago and I dies his hair blonde and gave him glasses, plus I put him in one of the base game suits. It looked like a perfect match.

Eep! I'm really excited for this. I hope the first chapter is out in the next week or so, that would be AWESOME...SAUCE!!!

Oh, and I think that the guy is the "Jetson Rip Off" father from Pets who is in a house with his wife, son and pets. The space age house. That, or you aged up the son.
