FINALLY!

On the thirteenth attempt, they finally gave me a lullaby.





On the seventh day of playing them after their marriage, Dean and Miranda finally gave me a lullaby. I swear to god, they'd roll under 25% for the attempt at trying for baby, but then roll nothing lower than an 80% on the actual chance to get pregnant.

I love ACR for the randomness it gives, but when you've got a family matriarch depending on her children to give her grandbabies, it can be a little frustrating. Of course, it doesn't help that I killed off one of the matriarch's children so she's depending on two children for those six grandkids.

I'm seriously tempted to cheesecake Miranda to get twins out of the deal, but I know if I do that, they'll immediately throw me another lullaby and a natural set of twins on top of that.

Regardless, I think I've got three days in the season left, so I might see the baby(s) before I'm done with their house. Stacie, I know I already asked you for name suggestions, but I can't remember if that was in PM or e-mail or what. So, think about what you would name twins. ;)

As a side note, I've started noting which season this generations' kids were born in. It'll help me keep their ages in mind when I stagger them into Uni as they grow up.

My guess is that Miranda will soften the Whedonberry features somewhat, kind of like how Grim softened Dru's features in Evangeline and Eustace. But, who knows. They could end up getting some of Dean's more prominent features too. They'll probably be adorable no matter what, though.

It's taken five generations to soften those features. I'm kind of glad to have a different look to the twins. I'm hoping that the kid gets Miranda's nose or some kind of nose mix. The Whedonberry profile is a bit flat and hides behind most hairs. That's why Dru no longer has that gorgeous Kool-Aid stained dark hair. If it's a boy, I hope he gets Dean's jaw. Dean has a good jaw and chin.

I sent names to you in the e-mail, I think. Mostly, I was just rambling some fun ideas. I'm pretty game for anything. Here's a list of names from or related to Supernatural, if that's the direction you want to go: Ash, Ava, Bobby, Castiel, Corbett, Deacon, Ellen, Hunter, Jo, John, Lenore, Mary, Ruby, Sam, and Winchester. Yeah I think Miranda and Dean fooled around with your ACR dice there. Of course I usually have my sims have fun after lullabye too. Even the ones I can't/don't cheat with.

They're children should be adorable. Maybe Miranda didn't want Shelby to feel like she had to compete for the pregnant mother attention? Or maybe she thought, "Hmm, Shelby's made it really easy for Voice so far, Dean and I should be a bit more stubborn so she can still wear her hats."
