"It's not that creepy, is it?"

No, but it is glitchy.

Scott has got to be the worst offender when it comes to the glitched facial expression. I noticed it when I did the very first hot tub group date with the bachelor challenge. His face stayed EXACTLY THE SAME even when everyone else was being expressive. A quick little 'force error' fixed it, but of course that had to wait until the hot tub time was done.

This afternoon, I was shooting some additional pictures for the next BC update and I seriously had to force error on Scott about FOUR times. His face kept glitching with this smile.

Talk to Dean. Glitchy smile. Talk to Cecil. Glitchy smile. Talk to Miranda. Glitchy smile. Reaction scene that requires emotional response. GLITCHY GODDAMN SMILE!

Pen, I love your boy here, but I got to wonder if this is genetic or just something he's doing in my game? :)

On more relevant news about the BC, I've decided there will be two separate parts for Day 5 and 6. I could probably squeeze them together, but it would be tough getting everything I need in 127 slides. So, I'll probably have Day 5 at about 90-100 slides and then pad out Day 6 with the epilogue to however many slides I need.

Since I'm near the end, I'm actually going back in and reshooting some of the 'standard' stuff to make it work better with the story. It's not quite as extreme as the way Sarah and Chris did Sim Spade's BC, but I figured I played it through honestly, now I can adjust the things I need to fit the story.

No ETA, but hopefully soon for Day 5.

Maybe it's sorta like my Scott, who just smiles all the damned time, that same smile! LOL!

Awww... I'm sorry Scott is being a pain Ori. Can I help it that my baby boy is happy all the time? I mean, what man wouldn't want to leave Antarctica, move to a beach house where it's warm and sunny and then hang out in the hottub with a beautiful girl? ;-)

No idea why he is so glitchy in your game. I have sims get stuck facial expressions a lot but usually its the frown and not the smile. Or maybe I just don't notice when its the smile as the frown usually messes up whatever scenes I am trying to shoot.

I'm looking forward to day 5 and I owe you a comment on day 4.

Ruby Blue gets smiley glitch a lot in my game. DocNerd, on the other hand, manages to glitch the contemplative one eyebrow up face a lot, which is kind of appropriate, but also makes her look like she's about to Rock Bottom all the simselves. Can you smell what the Doc is cookin'?

Are you altering scenes from earlier in the challenge a la BC Special Edition or just the ones that are coming out now?

Soon for Day 5 is awesome!!

No, no special edition. Just enhancing a couple of existing scenes. I wasn't happy with the pictures I had for a couple of spots, so even though the original scene was spontaneous, I restaged it to get some better pictures.

I probably won't be doing a Behind the Scenes post until after the finale is posted since I'm working on these together, but I don't think I have a Special Edition in me. :)

And I'm afraid of what Doc might be cooking. :)

AUGH. Now I am so curious about what happened and what the plotline is going to be that I cannot STAND it. I'm HOPING that because Days 5 and 6 will be separate, that maybe Day 5 will come out sooner.

When you do your Director's Special Comments cut, you just *have* to let us know what you re-shot and tweaked. I'm really enjoying hearing about that.

That's hilarious. I rarely get face-glitches, and it's generally confusion or "grrrr" when I do.

I always assume SimNerd is cookin' any number of inappropriate heart-farts. It's a safe bet.

It's really weird that it's always Scott who gets stuck. I'm not sure if I'm doing anything different with him than I'm doing with the other guys, but... He likes to smile. :)

I get the dancing raised eyebrow quite often, but that's usually reset fairly quickly by having them do something else. The stuck smile seems more pervasive and stubborn for some reason.

I'll definitely point out what I tweaked and what I didn't. :)

Believe me, I want to get them out as soon as possible, so I'm motivated to get them done ASAP. Still, it's going to take a little time.
