Warning: Sim Stuff ahead, but even some of you non simmy type folks might enjoy this. It's a damn good read. And it's not on the Exchange, so it's not surrounded by all that obvious simmy stuff. Anyway.. just read it.

Some of you have probably already read it and I'm quite behind the times, but I loved it so much that I have to infect those that haven't already been infected. It's a must read.

What the hell am I talking about? I'm talking about The Broke Legacy.

Holy canoli is it good. I finished reading it last night, ended up dreaming about it, and my mind kept wandering back to it all day. Only a few sim stories have effected me like that. This one is definitely worth the look. The pictures are gorgeous and the story is engrossing. It's got legacy and plot and Maxis sims all in one.

(You know me. I read something I like, I have to start pimping it around until at least someone acknowledges that they're reading it. :)

I love the Broke Legacy! I started reading it a little while ago after seeing De recommend it a couple of times. It's great!

I freakin' love this legacy!! De passed it on to me because of my alien registration plotline and I am SOOOOO glad she did!!

On a similar note, STRANGETOWN, HERE WE COME is a rockin' story as well. If you like the Brokes, you'll love this one, too. It's not a legacy, but it's made of freakin' awesome.

De's been pimping the Brokes for awhile and I joined the bandwagon after a mention of them during the whole Puck is Hawt bit. It's a great story!

I also give a second recommendation to Strangetown by Strange_Tomato (you can find her in my friends list) that Stacey mentioned I've been pimping that for awhile.

I'm so glad you're reading that one! The Brokes are one of my favorite legacy families ^_^ I knew you would love it if you read it and you're right that people that don't Sim would as well.

I knew De had been pimping it, but I figured it couldn't hurt to throw another rec out there for it. It took me a little bit to get into it, but once I was... Wow.

And yes, her Puck is hawt too. So is adult Ripp. Yowza. There's just something about the way she wrote Ripp that made me fall in love with him.

I started reading Strangetown Here We Come the other night too. I'm only at the beginning, but it's good so far.

Hahaha and the Broke legacy gains yet another fan! I love that series so much. I'm glad you do, too!

I haven't gotten around to Strangetown Here We Come yet. I keep meaning to, and then I don't.

Okay, having read the first 20 chapters of "Strangetown, Here We Come", I have to say in completely unequivocal terms, you really REALLY (REALLY!) need to read it asap.

It's AMAZINGLY good. It got me crying several times in a row. The author just has this absolute gift for showing these characters and what they're going through. You're really going to like it when you give it a chance, De.
