For all my whining last night when I wrote the previous post, the job still came through. They called me today and I start on Friday. WOO!
This is a good thing. The job pays better than I was earning at Kodak and I'll be getting full benefits. I'll get health insurance, dental insurance, paid sick time, paid vacation, and 401K. I'll be on night shift (6pm to 2am) once I'm trained, but I'm not too worried about that. An old co-worker is on that shift, and he's already said he would give me a ride. I just need to figure out transportation for the month of training, where I'll be on day shift.
*sigh of relief*
