I realized earlier it had been a while since I'd posted any pictures. I still carry the camera with me wherever I go, and it gets dragged out fairly often, but probably not as often as I should. Anyway.

I really want to get one of those tabletop tripods so I can play a little more with close ups like that. That one is from just setting it down on the table and hitting the button. If I'm holding it, I have to have the flash on, and that totally messes up the color.

Once you get a tripod, for closeups, be sure to use the ten-second timer function on your camera instead of pushing the button. That way you're not touching the camera at all, therefore there's no vibration, therefore you get razor-sharp pictures. :D
