Ten hour days aren't so bad, especially with the promise of a three day weekend at the end of the week. What does kill me, though, is the inability to TALK to people. I've got a way I can poke into a MU* one in a while during the day, but it's ugly and clunky and only worth doing on lunch breaks when I have time to pay attention and keep the window alive.

What I CAN do between calls and in those little moments of downtime is read my live journal. Before I was working, I'd check a couple times of day and get caught up. Now I'm checking every hour, if not more, and wanting people to write more. More! More interesting, please!

It is also rather tantalizingly frustrating that one of my MU*'s has a pretty active LJ community where people are posting IC journal entries. I just started one for my character, but I don't want to spam it with stuff. But I do wish more people would post there. Maybe it's the nosy side of me, but I love reading people's ramblings on their character's inner thoughts.

Anyway... bored now. :)

(PS JT... if I had Pagemaker here, I could be finishing the last little bit on the book, but oi! Not even Photoshop on these computers.)

Ah well, can't have everything. I'm prepared to wait for the good stuff.

Found Geir online and he assured me there was a spot for me on the Machine. I've about got Andreus levelled up (with XP, he's now PL 13) and added a little to his background to explain where he has been. Miracle was a good help.

Not sure if the team needs two water-people, but hey! What the hell.

Pfft. Two water people just means all the more reason to have some sort of water scene! Which I always wanted to have anyway.
