Well, I'm in the midst of my third ten hour day. I'm still not completely sure if I like doing things this way, but I'll probably be inordinately happy to sleep in on Friday.

Actually, I can't sleep in this Friday. I've got a job interview for a real graphic design job at a local credit union. The job sounds like it's pretty interesting and right what I want to be doing. It's nice not feeling pressured about a job interview. I'm not sure I'll be qualified enough to get it, but either way, they're bringing me in for an interview, which is a good thing, right?

Mike hated 10 hour days.

Felt they interfered with productivity because you're too tired by the end of them.

On the other hand, 3 day weekend. Whoot!

See, it never rains, but it pours. I remember the toughest stretch I ever had to work was 13 days straight at 10 hours each, working construction on a gold mine in the middle of Nevada ... in summer. BUT! At least I had no time to spend all the money I made.

Good luck with the new job, eh?
