Light Sunday Picspam

Picspam is a little light this week. I spent some time going through the pictures I had and pulling the ones I think I'm going to need for the next update. That was then compared to my outline, so I know what scenes I still need to shoot. There's still quite a bit to go, but I'm fairly happy with what I have so far.

A little bit of what I was doing involved playing my simself's house. It felt wrong without any cats, so my simself now has simpet versions of Malakhi and Pashenko.

I was a bit too hasty creating these two furballs. I couldn't actually get Malakhi close to how he actually looks. He has very silky black fur with a tiny tiny hint of white on his chest and a shocking swath of white near his privates. I also rushed making him and forgot to set his personality, so he got whatever the game set. I took a look and it pretty much works for him. Finicky, friendly, smart. And hey, at least I got his gender right.

Pashenko on the other hand came out a girl. D'oh. I also didn't get his face markings right. There was a mask in there that would have worked for him.. her.. but I didn't use it. I also couldn't make her.. him.. look fat enough. Still, at least she.. he.. is a lazy, friendly, doofus.

I didn't make a sim version of Johnson because I thought three cats might be a little much for my simself. We'll see, though.

Pashenko took exception to this giraffe upstairs. There's no giant stuffed dragon in the buy catalog, so the giraffe was the next closest. Pashenko was not the only pet to decide to attack the giraffe, but I failed to get pictures of the second and third attacks.

I've never seen this before. Pashenko used the litterbox and then sat in front of it staring at it. His queue said 'Watch Litterbox'. It was as if he were waiting for his servant to come change it for him right then and there.

Kind of like a real cat. Hmm.

Lancelot was a random walk-by, so I invited him in. He stole my simself's dinner and then proceeded to dance badly until he was invited to play darts. After that, he spent the rest of the night naked in the hot tub.

I have much love for Knightly.

In other randomness, did you know that two kids could use the bars at the same time? I didn't. I thought it was a one at a time thing. Aaron had brought Chastity home from school and was playing with her when I caught this. They both met halfway and then she dropped off and he continued on. It was actually kind of cute.

Speaking of cute, I'm really starting to fall in love with Jacob's look. He really is a nice blend of Jeremiah and Meadow and I can see hints of Micah in there too.

I really want to do a Teen Who's Who, but I decided to wait until Star teens up before putting that together. I've also decided to officially regard the Thompson kids as Gen Five, even though they're technically Gen Four. It'll be much easier on my recordkeeping from here on out. This means I'll list Alpha, Beta, Charlotte, Raleigh, Savannah, Austin, and Chastity as part of this current gen. It's nothing that will show up in the story itself, but it'll help me be a little more clear here, I think.

Here's a picture of Persephone and Oz that I adore, but I decided I won't use in the update.

Currently the pics for the update are sitting at about 150 pictures. This does not include any of the plotty or filler scenes I need to shoot, so no matter what I do, I'm looking at pics for two updates. Either a double or two separate ones. We'll see how it looks when I get more of the plotty stuff done.

Speaking of random cute, here's one of Louise. I absolutely love the look of curious expectation on her face. This was done during the Headmaster visit.

Many Headmaster visits were done during this past week. I decided to get Louise in while I was playing her house to get to the birth of Josephine. During that, I realized that I still needed to get pretty much ALL the kids in to private school. That meant a quick succession of popping into houses and playing them each through a visit. The only house I didn't do was the Waltons. I figured I'd handle them when I shoot their plotty scenes.

I'll still need to do a visit for Oz now that he's a child, but in the meantime, here's another reason why he was one of the most adorable toddlers I've ever had.

Speaking of adorable toddlers, I'll finish up the picspam with another pic of Josephine. Even though she's still just a toddler, she's shaping up to be a fun one. Her personality is almost an exact duplicate of Elijah, except that she's more playful.

Anyway, that's it. I've got quite a few plotty scenes to shoot, but none of them should be exceptionally complicated. Hopefully I'll get all that shooting done this week and then next week I can start writing.

So, how are you all doing this fine Sunday?

Just don't sacrifice Vince. I like Vince. Korey or BJ are fine for sacrificing to the Prof. That'll get them all straightened out quite quick. :)

Heh. Riverblossom Hills doesn't have Vince, Korey, or BJ. I have Merlin Emo-hair, Red And Sorta Spikey, and Black Comboverish Thing.

Oh! Well, in that case, carry on. Kill 'em all if you want. :)

Hey. I've only killed Korey (Mr. Jikamawhatever.) BJ Ryan has always been fine for me. And Vince eats disgusting old grilled cheese and doesn't even complain.
